My client, a Global FTSE100 organisation are looking to recruit an experienced Supply Chain Project Manager to start ASAP.

We have a role for an experienced Supply Chain Project Manager outside IR35 to be working on a large Network WMS (Warehouse Management System) Strategy Project.  This assignment will be working closely with the Business Project Manager.

The business use SAP Warehouse Management for their manual distribution centres across the world and the time has come time to upgrade the system to SAP EWM.

You will leading the project initially through the discovery phase and the ideal candidate will need to have Supply Chain WMS experience – preferably SAP WM / EWM experience.  Experience should also cover integration to ERP systems (SAP Preferred). 

A summary of PM deliverables is below:

  1. Outlines goals, scope, timelines, resources, and milestones.
  2. Scope Definition: Clearly define and document the project’s scope, objectives, and requirements.
  3. Schedule Management: Create and maintain a project schedule, including task assignments and dependencies.
  4. Liaise with business and relevant third-party resources to allocate tasks and ensure results are achieved on time and budget.  
  5. Risk Management: Create and maintain a RAID log to manage identified risks, assumptions, issues, and Decisions to mitigate project risks and issues.
  6. Communication Plan: Create, maintain, and execute a communication plan to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
  7. Progress Tracking: Monitoring project progress and performance against the plan and adjust as needed.
  8. Quality Assurance: Ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to best practices.
  9. Deliver Discovery phase to Budget:  Maintain adherence to the project budget, controlling costs throughout the project lifecycle.
  10. Stakeholder Engagement: Engaging with stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project goals.
  11. Documentation: Maintain project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and change requests.
  12. Deliverable Acceptance: Ensuring that project deliverables are accepted by stakeholders and meet their requirements.
  13. Closure and Evaluation: Close out the project, conducting a post-project evaluation, and facilitating handover to the relevant team upon successful deployment.
