Senior Solutions Architect

Solutions Architect Opportunity! £75,000 – £78,000 + Bonus – Leeds / Hybrid – 2 days on site per week.

The Bridge IT have partnered with a leading financial services organisation based in Leeds to recruit a Solutions Architect. The primary purpose of this role is to act as a subject matter expert in application and technology solutions, leading and delivering innovative and cost-effective solutions across multiple platforms. The Solution Architect will play a pivotal role in contributing to the delivery of our clients Group IT Strategy by shaping and ensuring the implementation of robust technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Delivery: Lead internal and external teams in delivering innovative, cost-effective technology solutions across various domains.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a domain expert and advocate for the architecture team, acting as the primary point of contact within your area of responsibility.
• Solution Shaping: Match business requirements with appropriate technology solutions across multiple systems.
• System Performance: Ensure that applications and systems perform to user expectations, continuously evolving and maintaining them.
• Application Roadmaps: Contribute to the development of application roadmaps, identifying software end-of-life risks and evolving the technology landscape.
• Design Assurance & Mentorship: Support design assurance within the architecture team, mentor peers, and the wider IT community.
• Governance & Alignment: Ensure that all IT changes are governed appropriately and align with application roadmaps and overall IT strategy, standards, and practices.

Required Experience:

• Comprehensive understanding of architecture, including Enterprise, Solution, and Application design.
• Deep knowledge of all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Familiarity with financial services IT solutions, mobile technology solutions, CRM, and web application architecture (including Content Management Systems).
• Working knowledge of Change Management processes and Project Management methodologies.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience leading teams and resources in a matrix structure.
• In-depth understanding and focus on cloud technologies (AWS)
