Permanent full-time position

The Bridge Technology Partners are working exclusively with a national public sector organisation to help with their searches for a Senior Data Modeller.

The primary purpose of the Senior Data Modeler role is to specialise in logical, conceptual and physical data modelling and contribute to the development and maintenance of an enterprise data model which is in need of modernisation. This role involves crafting logical data models that accurately represent the organisations data assets, relationships, and business processes. By collaborating closely with stakeholders, the Senior Data Modeler ensures that the enterprise data model aligns with business objectives and requirements.

• Data Modelling: Develop and maintain logical and conceptual data models that accurately represent the organisations data assets, relationships, and business processes.
• Enterprise Data Model Development: Contribute to the creation and evolution of an enterprise data model that provides a standardised framework for data management across the organization.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with business units, data architects, data engineers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, validate data models, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, ensuring they are accessible for reference and promoting a clear understanding of data structures and relationships.

This position will suit someone who has specialised in data modelling as a career rather than someone who has done data modelling as part of a much wider remit. The preferred modelling tool is ER Studio so experience of this or similar is desirable.
