The Role:

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will develop and optimise data pipelines within the Microsoft data capability stack, focusing on the new Fabric data platform. Reporting to the Lead Data Engineer, you’ll be part of a dynamic team driving innovation and enhancing data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of sophisticated data models and pipelines.
• Collaborate with data management teams to maintain data governance and security standards.
• Optimise data solutions using Azure, ensuring seamless production integration.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable data solutions.

What You’ll Need:

• Proven expertise in technical computing, analysis, design, and development.
• Experience designing and operating analytics solutions using Azure cloud technologies.
• Proficiency with Azure data resources: Data Factory, Databricks, Storage Account, SQL Database, SQL Data Warehouse.
• Senior-level experience in data engineering, including designing data models and ETL pipelines, engineering robust solutions, and conducting testing and QA.
• Expertise in Azure DevOps, with a focus on source repository control, CI/CD, and change control best practices.
