Senior Business Analyst
Currently recruiting a permanent Senior Business Analyst for an established Financial Services organisation based in South Yorkshire. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be a highly experienced practitioner with a strong knowledge of a wide range of tools and techniques along with experience of deploying them in complex and ambiguous contexts.
You must be able to work closely with senior stakeholders and cross functional project teams, throughout the organisation, to understand and communicate technical concepts and translate them into a clear vision.
Key responsibilities:
- Shape the project definition and contribute to the analysis approach
- Plan and drive scoping, requirements definition and prioritisation
- Prepare business cases, including cost/benefit, impact and risk analysis
- Recommend approaches and techniques relevant to the business situation
- Responsible for planning and coordinating team modelling activities and for ensuring the quality of their work
- Ensure changes to requirements are investigated and managed
- Ensure the project objectives are managed throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage the analysis activities using a range of tools and techniques
- Take responsibility for work to investigate business problems and opportunities
- Work effectively with senior business and IT stakeholders
- Conduct investigations at a strategic / operational level and assure feasibility of proposed solution
- Advise senior stakeholders on business change priorities within the context of the organisational objectives
- Manage the creation of test scenarios and ensure that they reflect realistic operational goals
- Advise on the feasibility of proposed business and technical change
