IT Manager / Senior Support Analyst

My Yorkshire based client is looking to recruit an IT Manager to take responsibility of the effective day to day running of a small IT Support Department.
As Senior Support Analyst / IT Manager, you will take ownership for the secure and effective operation of all IT systems working alongside support partners as required. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable skills working in a Service Desk management capacity or within Infrastructure management .
Reporting into the Technical Operations Director, the IT Manager will :
• Manage one IT Technician, setting KPI’s / objectives etc and ensuring these are met or exceeded
• Take responsibility for professional development, holding regular one-to-one’s and performance reviews
• Oversee user administration and access management
• Implement and maintain device level security and management via Intune
• Ensure that all network systems deliver a fit for purpose service at all times
• Ensure audit trails and system logs are regularly reviewed and compliant with policy

This is a hands on technical role which necessitates the following expertise:
• Active Directory , MS Windows, MS Office and Exchange
• Microsoft 365 and Azure AD
• Intune
• Meraki Dashboard
• Veeam
• Halo ITSM (or similar)
• IP based telephony
• Knowledge of Information Security Management Frameworks
• ITIL

This role necessitates working on site 5 days a week.
