Data Consultant

• Job Title: Data Consultant (Engineer)
• Contract – outside IR35 / 3 month initially with likely extension
• Full-remote with occasional travel to Cambridgeshire

Project narrative:

Leveraging real-world data to support optimisation of patient recruitment and site selection in clinical trials.

In this role you will be using real-world data sources on patient distribution, prescription information and clinical trial site utilisation to generate a platform for disease portfolio level optimisation of site allocation and patient recruitment strategies. Data sources would include (but not limited to): TriNetX, ATLAS (AZ internal relational data base developed at country level, eg: NHS data in UK), Clinical Trials Gov, CiteLine and internal systems for live monitoring of clinical trial recruitment. 

We are developing the capability to map the data sources (eg: patients, prescriptions, sites) to geolocations (longitude and latitude) to enable estimation of site burden (based on available patients, local prescription levels, and competition from internal and external clinical studies) as well as optimisation of site allocation at a portfolio level.

Essential skill sets:
• SQL
• Python
• GeoPandas, GeoJSON
• ICD10 experience is preferred.
• Experience with usng RWD datasets preferred.

Desirable skill sets:
• R (primarily for data access via SQL)
• Power BI
