3rd Line Engineer

Bridge IT are excited to be partnered with a leading education body in South Yorkshire to recruit for a 3rd Line Engineer to join their expanding team.

Becoming a member of a skilled group of infrastructure professionals, you will have a pivotal role in guaranteeing the dependability, safety, and effectiveness of their IT systems. Your technical knowledge will be essential in backing the educational fields commitment to delivering a superior educational experience.

Your key responsibilities will be to offer expert technical advice, diagnostic assistance, and repair support to customers as a part of a Service Desk Team. You will also oversee all reported incidents and ensure they are resolved within the agreed-upon SLA timeframes, with appropriate escalation as needed to meet those deadlines.

Ideally you will have experience with:

• Virtual compute (VMware and Hyper-V)
• Disaster Recovery Technologies (Veeam and Zerto)
• Server based client services (DHCP and DNS)
• SAN technologies
